202 Market -- Roanoke, VA
My boyfriend and I love to eat. In fact, we spend most of our time eating or talking about food. He loves to cook. For our one year anniversary, I contacted the chef at our favorite restaurant in Roanoke, 202 Market, and had Chef Chad Scott take my boyfriend under his wing for a few hours — so he could learn a thing or two in the kitchen 202 Market style. 202 Market is something you would find in a big city (and we all know I love big cities!), except it’s just downtown in Roanoke — a couple miles from my college. The food is innovative and every single time I have been there, the service and food has been above par. 202 Market will be one of the things I miss most about this area because I don’t think I have found food like this anywhere else (even in NYC!).
