It was just one year ago today that Obama was elected to be the next President of the United States of America. Everyone cheered, some people cried — there was a lot of rejoice and excitement. The College Republicans (the 5 of them on my campus) sulked silently. We chanted “Yes We Can” over and over again. It still feels like yesterday. In fact, it still feels like I just watched Obama’s inauguration in January — but look where we are now, November 4th — a year later. While I think Obama brought a lot of hope, I still think this rings true: “We have a lot of work to do.”
